Bourgeois, 91, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away January 17, 2015. Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am with burial following in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Mrs. Bourgeois is survived by her children Dave Bourgeois Jr and wife Betty, Ruth Whitman, and Beryl Bergeron, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother Eddie Plaisance, and sisters Rena Walker and Anna Belle Savoie. She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Bourgeois Sr, son Kevin John Bourgeois, parents Edmond and Eveline Plaisance, son-in-law Finner Whitman, brothers Euris, Freddie, and Taylor Plaisance, and sisters Clara Belle Gisclair, Gertie Curole, and Francis Bourgeois. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she brought Communion to the homebound, and was volunteer at the Catholic Community Center. Mrs. Earline enjoyed working in her yard, tending her flowers and housekeeping, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
