Willie V. Britten, 65, a native and resident of Baton Rouge and former resident 
of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Hughes 
United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Britten; son, Justin Britten; daughter, 
Terika Britten Hester (Dwayne); stepson, Tremayne Johnson; five brothers; and 
three sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Britten Sr.; son, 
Gerren Johnson; and brother, Clyde Britten. 

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
