Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral from 8:30 am until funeral time at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his devoted, loving wife, Shirley Bourgeois Guillot; daughters, Denise Knight and husband, Jeff; Lisa Richard and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Jared Knight and finance’, Sara LeBlanc; Tara Jones and husband, Reid; Jennifer Webre and husband, Kyle, and Philip Richard; great grandchildren, Mason Davenport, Candace Knight, and Drake and Morgan Webre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Celestin and Bertha Guillot, brothers, Gerald, Gilbert, Daniel, Francis, and Dale Guillot, and a sister, Gloria Guillot. Roger served in the National Guard. He was retired from Thibodaux Hospital after many years of service. He enjoyed keeping his yard beautiful, as well as many other yards. He and his wife enjoyed many trips across the country and made many friends on the road. He was a past member of the VCH fire company. He was also a member for years in the Krewe of Christopher and was honored to serve as King in 1998. The family would like to thank Thibodaux Regional staff, Dr. Funk, Dr. David Patten, and the doctors and staff of CIS, and Dr. Greg Chiasson for their help throughout his illness.
