Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1501.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Laurie Ann Hebert, 42, a native and resident of Schriever, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, January 17, 2015 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. A visitation will be held in her honor from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21 until funeral time at St. Bridget Catholic Church. The mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Bridget cemetery. She is survived by her parents, Michael and Marlene LeBlanc Hebert, one sister, Lisa Hebert Thibodeaux and husband Travis, her nephew/godchild Luke Thibodeaux, who was her greatest source of joy in life, and countless devoted and loving friends and family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Elvin, Sr. and Yvonne Melancon Hebert and Herman and Heloise Boudreaux LeBlanc. Laurie loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her sweet and joyful spirit was unlike any other, and her strength and courage during illness inspired many. She will be terribly missed but always in our hearts and minds.
