Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Jan. 31, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Hebert; daughters, Shannon Hebert Naquin and husband, Gerald "Dave" Naquin Jr., of Houma, and Mitzi Hebert Bettridge and husband, Justin, of Perth, Australia; brother, Albert Hebert and wife, Peggy , of Bayou Vista; sisters, Olive Hebert Arceneaux, of Gibson, Marilyn Hebert Cornes and husband, Bob, of Thibodaux, and Beverly Hebert Vetter and husband, Scott, of Bossier City; sister-in-law, Theresa Hebert, of Gibson; and grandchildren, Grady and Emily Naquin, and Lachlan and Gabrielle Bettridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace A. Hebert and Florence Gertrude Hebert; brother, Herbert Hebert; and brother-in-law, Richard "Ricky" Arceneaux. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Rusty and Chico. He was a loving father and grandfather and a retired boat captain. He enjoyed listening to Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Hank Williams Sr. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
