Stewart "Dishrag" Jasper Sr., 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Houma, died at 4:19 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, Jan. 23, at Jones 
Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
funeral home, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Jasper; son, Stewart Jasper Jr. (Chantelle 
Autin); daughters, Raine Butler (Gerald) and Penny Jasper; sisters, Earline 
Carter, Lucille Carter and Glenda Holliday; brother, William Jasper Sr.; and 
eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Sr. and 
Thelma Verrett Jasper; brothers, Kermit Nash, Raymond Sr. and Elijah Jasper 
Jr.; and sisters, Cloteal Warren, Mary Davis and Murrel Aubert. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
