He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00am at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his Sons: Dale Ledet and wife Cindy of Luling LA and Mark Ledet and wife Mary of Houma LA, Daughters: Judy Chauvin of Luling LA, Connie Laster and husband Bobby of Destrehan LA, Mary Fanguy of Houma LA and Donna Ledet of Houma LA, Sisters: Eve Ledet of Bourg LA and Grace Crochet of Marrero LA, Grandchildren: Nick, Joseph, and Christopher Chauvin, Lindy Bourgeois and husband Loyd, Jamie Laird and husband Ryan, Erica Sanders and husband Josh, Zack Laster and wife Valerie, Phillip Ledet and significant other Brook Tyler, Emily Taylor and husband John, Adam Ledet and wife Laura, Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Preston, Ella, Miranda, Luke, Sophie, Dominic, Reid, and "Baby T". He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Marie Babin Ledet, Parent: Nicholas Joseph Ledet and Aggie Bergeron Ledet, Sons-in-Law: Danny Chauvin and Steve Fanguy, and Sister: Ethel Carlos. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. Nicholas was a loyal employee for over 45 years at Quality and Trapp Chevrolet. He was an avid golfer, a member of the Kiwanis Club, Better Business Bureau, National Automotive Dealers Association, Krewe of Houmas, and Ellendale Country Club. He reigned as King of Mardi Gras for four years at The Homestead. The family would like to thank all the staff and residents at The Homestead for their friendship, love and care. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. ======================
