Barbara Lucus, 69. A native of Labadieville, LA and a resident of Houma, LA 
died on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Ferncrest Manor Living Center at 1:57a.m.

Homegoing celebration will be held at New Rising Sun Baptist Church 230 St. 
Charles St., Houma, LA 70360 on Friday, January 9, 2015. Visitation from 
9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

with burial at New Rising Sun Baptist Church cemetery, Houma.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Mr. John Lucas and daughter, Jennifer Lucas. 
One brother, Rev. Leonard Louis, Jr., sister, Lillie Goods Cruz and one 
grandson, Cavon Cole.

She was preceded in death her parents, Leonard Lewis and Olivia Stewart Lewis. 

She was a retired teacher with Terrebonne Parish School Board and a member of 
New Rising Sun Baptist Church.
