She was a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 9:00 AM untill funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Albert J. “Nupee” Lyons, Sr. Her children, Ronnie Lyons, Kenneth Lyons and wife Tina, Cathy Authement and husband Barry, Chad Lyons and wife Melissa, Al Lyons and wife Pam. Grandchildren, Bronson Authement and wife Julie, Ashley Hebert and husband Rusty, Nick Lyons and wife Robin, Myles Lyons and wife Brooke, Lynsie Dupre and husbandJeff, Cody Lyons, Harli Lyons and companion Dylan, DaKota Lyons, Jace Lyons and wife Marlee. Great grandchildren, Alexis and Gabe Authement, Claire and Landon Lyons, Blaikley Lyons, Brodie, Laynie and Hallie Dupre, Colby and Liam Hebert. Sister, Dorothy Blanchard, Brothers, Wilsey “T-June” Dupre and wife Betty, Andy Dupre and wife Maria, Sister-in-Law: Anna Dupre She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilsey, Sr., and Flossie Dupre, Grandparents, Willis and Clarisse Dupre, Albert and Clothilde Dupre, Brother, Nolan Dupre, Brother in Law: Roland Blanchard, In Laws, Vanis and Beulah Lyons. Jeanette was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to her family and friends for all their help and support for the past seven years with her courageous battle with alzheimers. Her care givers, all the home health care providers, and doctors and staff of T.G.M.C. ======================
