Jane A. Martin, 81, a native of Cut Off and resident of Leeville, died Tuesday, 
Jan. 13, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, Jan. 19, at Our Lady 
of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. 

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy Joseph Martin; son, Jerry J. 
Martin Sr. and wife, Joy; sister, Rita A. LeCompte; grandson, Jerry J. Martin 
Jr.; and great-grandson, J.J. Martin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Neige Pitre Adams; brothers, 
Hayes, Henry, Clarence and Abel Adams Jr.; and sisters, Leontine Callais, 
Isabella Gisclair, Thelma Exposito and Earline Collins. 

Jane loved fishing and crabbing. She also enjoyed puzzles, cross-stitch and 
playing cards. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
