He was a native of Star City AR and resident of Paducah, KY. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery, He is survived by his, Son: Harold Jenkins McGriff Jr. and wife Linda of Paducah KY, Step-Son: Eddie Schexnaydre and wife Sharon of Dubach LA, Step- Daughter: Susan Lemley of Boulder CO, Daughter: Diane Price and husband Ernie of Houma LA, Daughter-in-Law: Sandra McGriff of Eldorado AR, Grandchildren: Donna Holbert "John", David McGriff "Velvet", Marcy Brown "Carl". Jason Price "Stacey", Jennifer Allen "Kyle", and Jeffrey McGriff "Shelcy", Step- grandchildren: Tammy Gauthreaux "Brent" and Jay Morello, He is survived by thirteen great grandchildren with one on the way; and also survived by five step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, First wife of fifty-four years: Virginia McGriff, Second wife of twelve years: Doris Schexnaydre, Parents: Benjamin Meredith McGriff and Mamie Inez Jenkins McGriff, Son: James A. McGriff, and Sisters: Benne Gene Bickers and Inez Hankins. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force with service in the Second World War.
