David J Michel, 59, a native and a resident of Houma, died Tuesday, January 20, 
2015.

Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2015 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma 
from 10am - 1pm
Services at 1pm Friday, January 23, 2015 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma

Survived by :
Mother - Lucy Marcel Michel
Children - Brandon Michel and wife Jennifer, Sunshine Michel, Cain Michel and 
wife Kimberly
Companion - Diane Carlos
Grandchildren - Shelby, Emma, Colton, Beau
Brothers - Paul Michel, Jr., Joe Michel, Larry Michel
Sisters - Lucy Thibodeaux, Pat Whatley, Debbie Souldier, Paulette Hutt, Diana 
Michel

Preceded in death by
Father - Paul Michel, Sr.
Sisters- Betsy Michel

He was a loving and devoted father who loved hunting and fishing and spending 
time with his family, friends and Honey "PeePee". He was very compassionate 
about his career.

In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society or Mary Byrd Perkins 
Cancer Center.
