Camolette "Cam" Martin Pearson, 93, a native of Lake Arthur and resident of 
Houma, died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Maria 
Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. 

She is survived by her son, Edward Byron Pearson and wife, Anita Laperouse 
Pearson; grandchildren, Allyson Pearson Jackson, Stephanie Pearson Champagne 
and husband, James, Christi Pearson Marmande and husband, Mark, and Gregory 
Paul Pearson and wife, Amy; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Justin "Sonny" Merrill 
Pearson; parents, Edward Parker and Anaise Broussard Martin; brother, Edward 
Paul "Buddy" Martin; and sister, Louise Martin Breedlove. 

Camolette was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. She was an 
avid reader and loved her cats. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to: My Heart's Desire Animal Rescue 
Service, 8379 Tupelo Street, Houma, LA 70363, would be gratefully appreciated. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
