Lorraine Reed, 62, a native of New Orleans and resident of Dulac, died 
Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. 

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dion; sisters, Rita Parfait, Mary 
Francis, Edelta Solet, Esther Benoit and Florence Leeds; brothers, Albert 
Rodrigue, Joseph Rodrigue Sr. and wife, Sue, and Horris Rodrigue and companion, 
Betty Ann; granddaughter, Tarena Dion; grandsons, Ernest Dion Jr. and wife, 
Lana, and Arlon Dion and wife, Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Kelbeigh, 
Kinslee, Kyla, Arlon Jr., Noah and Kera. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arlon Reed; father, Cyril 
Joseph Lodrigue; mother, Eva Albertine Francis Lodrigue; and brothers, Ernest, 
Norris and Antoine Rodrigue. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
