Russell K. Reeves, 63, a native of Lake Charles and resident of Galliano, 
passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Jan. 15, at First 
Baptist Church in Golden Meadow. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at 
the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Cheramie Reeves; mother, Berna Dean 
Reeves; sons, Chad Reeves and wife, Jessica, and Brandon Reeves and wife, 
April; stepson. Randy Cheramie and wife, Vickie; daughter, Amanda Reeves 
Winterbottom and husband, Jay; sister, Colleen Reeves and companion, Robert; 
and grandchildren, Evan Reeves, Morgan Richardson, Isabella Reeves, Grady 
Reeves, Shaye Cheramie and Trey Cheramie. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Reeves; stepson, Corey Cheramie; 
grandfathers, Joe Reeves and Homer Mathis; and grandmothers, Mattie Reeves and 
Hazel Reeves. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
