CECILE ROBINSON RUSHING departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at her 
residence in Thibodaux, LA. She was 83, and a native of Thibodaux. 

Visiting at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Thibodaux, LA on Sat, Jan. 24, 2015 from 
9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00 am. 

Burial in the St. Peter Baptist Chruch Cemetery. 

Survived by 3 daughters, Sherrilyn, and Gwendolyn Robinson, Shelia Thomas, all 
of Thibodaux, LA; 2 sons, Pete Robinson (Karen) of Stone Mountain, GA, and 
James Robinson (Angie) of Lawrenceville, GA; 1 brother, Cleveland Robinson 
(Ella Mae) of Joliet, IL; Also 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a 
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mollie Robinson; Husband, Eddie J. 
Rushing; 5 sisters, Celeste and Selena Robinson, Ceola Jones, Inetta Williams, 
and Louise Hampton; 6 brothers, Arthur, Jr., Eddie, Leo, Henry, Harold, and 
Joseph Robinson.
