Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Saturday, Jan. 24, at Christian Faith Fellowship Church at 130 Moffett Road in Houma. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. She is survived by her daughters, Danielle and Danise Swan; grandchildren, Shane Swan, Makaila Swan, and Jaylyn Williams; sisters, Linda A. Trahan, and Mona LaCompte and husband, Easton; brothers, Allen J. Trahan and wife, Sandra, and Gary J. Trahan and wife, Darlene; and mother-in-law, Peggy Naquin Swan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Swan; parents, James Junior and Frances Marie Leonard Trahan; sister, Nancy Trahan; and godchild, Adele LeCompte LeBoeuf. Peggy was a Christian. She was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was an organ donor and that gives her family great comfort at this time. Peggy always told her children and grandchildren "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." She was a longtime carrier for the Houma Courier. The family truly appreciates the compassion and care shown to Peggy and her family at Chabert Medical Center by Drs. Arcement, Delaatte, Varghese and Vyez, ICU nurses, Brittany Desselle, Kelly Dalrymple, Michael Falgout, and staff in the Emergency, ICU and Cardiology Departments. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
