He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by his, Spouse: Norma Authement Trahan, Son: Drukell Trahan and wife Theresa, Daughters: Deidre Holmes and husband Wayne, Adele Weber, and Danielle Vauclin and husband Brent, Sister: Shirley Millet, Grandchildren: Kristin Kelley, Kandice Kelley, Shelby Holmes, and Tristen Pellegrin, and Great Grandchild: Madison Gonzales, He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Antoine Trahan, Agnes Henry and husband Willis Henry, Sisters: Joyce Duhon and Dorothy Carlos, and Brother: Carl Henry. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of the Chosen Few. He was also a lifetime member of the Montegut Lions Club and the American Legion. He was a very caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered by all as the man who glided across the dance floor during a waltz and cut a rug with the jitter bug. The family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry, the staff at T.G.M.C., The Suites at Sugar Mill Point, and Bayou Home Care. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
