Randy "Pops" Babin Sr., 73, a native and resident of Houma, passed away Monday, 
Feb. 23, 2015. 

A memorial visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Babin; sons, Randy Babin Jr. and wife, 
Christi, David Babin and wife, Dana, Chuck Babin and wife, Yolanda, John Babin 
and wife, Eliana, Richard Rhodes and wife, Michelle, and Paul Rhodes and wife, 
Kim; brother, Donald Babin and wife, Jeanette; sisters, Bea Foret and Evette 
Blanchard; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Paul Babin; mother, Orphise 
Azalie Luke Babin; and sister, Gladys Babin Naquin. 

He retired from PETCO and was also the manger of the Pit Stop restaurants. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
