He was surrounded by his family and friends. He was a native and resident of Grand Caillou, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Reggie P. Bourg, and Ricky J. Bourg and wife, Linh; daughters, Ledie Catherine B. Simon and husband, Huey Sr., and Karen B. Ricaud and Husband, Randall; grandchildren, Michael Price and wife, Kelly, Lori P. Williams, Huey Simon Jr., Rose Lottinger, Joshua Simon and wife, Tammy, Dori Bourg, Matthew Bourg and wife, Timi-Rai, Kelly B. Boudwin and husband, Patrick, Joey Bourg and wife, Pamela, Monica Bourg, Sarah and Paul Lawrence Ricaud; great-grandchildren, Macy and Mallory Price, Caleb Wahl, Aleesia and Emberli Simon, RaiLeigh Bourg, Dustin and Jenae Lawren Boudwin, Brittany and Kristen Boudwin, Lillian and Grant Bourg, and Kyndal Bourg. He was preceded in death by his Beloved wife of 65 years, Leona Rita Luke Bourg; parents, Maxcillair and Parmela Savoie Bourg; brothers, Dalton, Harris, Abby, Irvin, Raymond and Norris Bourg; sisters, Olive Price, Sadie Lovell, Stella Smith, Leontine Lapeyrouse, and Alice Darcey. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was an usher for many years. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight. He worked his whole life on the water as a boat captain. He was a self employed commercial fisherman. He was the captain of the Mr. Mack. He enjoyed building model boats, hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. ======================
