Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The interment will be at St. Elie Cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife of 68 years, Mary Mae Chauvin Brunet, Daughters, Patricia Verret and Husband, Frank, Genevieve "Vee" Voisin and Husband, John "J.P.", Doris Punch and Husband, Allen "Fatso"; and Geraldine "Denny" Hargroves and Husband, Thomas, Son, Joseph "Joe Black" Brunet and Wife, Christine "Tine"; numerous Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Joseph and Nolia Pinel Brunet, one Daughter, Justelia Brunet Falcon, Sons, Chester "Jr." Brunet and Russell John Brunet; Sisters, Sister Agnes Brunet, Theresa Danos and Josephine Brunet; and Brother, Norris Brunet and Ivy Brunet Red was a loving husband and father. He worked for McDermott for over thirty years. He loved painting with glitter and "glitz". He looked forward to going to his camp and fishing in his younger years. During his time off from work he shared a love with his grandkids of farming and raising farm animals. Chester was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family wishes to thank AMG Specialty Hospital, Terrebonne General Medical Center, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, Dr. Wilder, and Dr. Brian Matherne and staff of the Family Doctor Clinic. ======================
