Lloyd Burdis Sr., 75, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Napoleonville, died 
Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Feb. 14, at Moses 
Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Moses Baptist Church cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his son, Leo (Treesa) Burdis Jr., of Thibodaux; daughters, 
Chrissie Marie Burdis, of Humble, Texas, Nancy B. Hydara and Hannah Marie 
Burdis, both of Seattle, Washington; brothers, Oscar Burdis, of Houma, LeRoy 
Burdis, of Labadieville, Rickey Burdis, of Vacherie, Lionel, Larry and Richard 
Burdis, all of Thibodaux; sister, Carol Burdis, of Labadieville; six 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beulah Pierre Burdis and Oscar Burdis 
Sr.; sons, Reggie and Randy Burdis; brothers, Tillman, Medrick and Alton 
Burdis; and sisters, Dorothy Burdis Sanders and Udell Burdis. 

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
