Ione Valentine David, 91, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

She was a native of Port Arthur, TX and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday Feb. 6, 2015 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Feb. 7, 
2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Burial will follow Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

She is survived by her Son and daughter in law, Edwin Thomas David and wife 
Elsie, son, Kevin Clark David;
Daughter and son in law, Joy Ann Bergeron and husband Hartley, Sr, daughter, 
Marjorie Elizabeth David;
8 grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Louis Joseph David,
Parents, Edwin Thomas Gordy and Maud Inez Werner Gordy,
Son, Louis Joseph "Sonny" David, Jr.,
Daughter in Law, Robyn "Bobbe" David,
Brother and sister in law, Linn Joseph Gordy and wife Olga,
Sisters and brothers in law, Myrtle Jaccuzzo and husband Johnny, Irma Cochran 
and husband Ray, Nettie Van Brocklin and husband Tom.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
