Jeanne Duplantis Hebert, 74, a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, 
died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Feb. 12, at 
Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at 
the funeral home, 

with burial in Morgan City Cemetery. 

She is survived by her brothers, Lindy Duplantis, Roland Boudreaux and Roy 
Boudoin; sisters, Juanita Duplantis, Mercedes Perez, Merril Naquin, Julia 
Duplantis and Jackie Boudoin; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hebert; parents, Lucius 
Duplantis and Eunice Boudoin; sons, John Hebert Jr., Joseph Hebert and Herbert 
Hebert; brothers, Aaron Duplantis, George Davis Duplantis, Lucius Duplantis Jr. 
and Johnny Duplantis; sisters, Leonise Callahan and Lois Sculley; and 
grandchild, Kailyn Elizabeth Hebert. 

Special thanks for all the care they have given to Jeanne at Maison DeVille, 
Terrebonne General Medical Center third floor staff and nurses and Family Dr. 
Clinic of Houma. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
