Nita Landry Hebert, 97, a native of Chackbay, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA 
passed away on February 5, 2015.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Christ the 
Redeemer Catholic Church from 8:30AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will take place at 11:00AM at the church. 

Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay, LA.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle H. Chenier and husband Leroy; 
grandchildren, Kendall Chenier, Kerry Chenier and wife Christina, Kyle Chenier 
and wife Alicia; great-grandchildren, Karissa and Kaden Chenier, and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hebert; parents, Klebert Landry and 
Elda Clement Landry; brothers, Wilmer, Nolan, Clifford, Wilbert, and Jerry 
Landry; sisters, Elise Benoit, Nolia Landry, Vivian Chiasson, and Erline 
Landry.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who loved everyone and was 
loved by everyone. She lived life for her grandchildren and always looked 
forward to Sunday's when she could see her great grandchildren. She also loved 
her nephews and nieces. 
Nita was a strong person who was always concerned about others, especially 
taking care of her siblings in their times of need.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
