Audrey Hampton Johnson, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, 
Feb. 19, 2015. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, and from 9 a.m. until funeral 
time Thursday, Feb. 26, at Moses Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Marie Shaw (Auther); sons, Jeffery 
(Miranda) Johnson and Lionel (Betty) Johnson Jr.; brothers, Wilbert and Thomas 
Hampton; sisters, Thelma Leonard, Vera Washington, Cora Hampton and Leola 
Campbell; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Johnson Sr.; parents, Mitchell 
Hampton Jr. and Leotha Thomas Hampton; brothers, Mitchell Hampton III and 
Norman Hampton Sr.; and sister, Essie Hampton Williams. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
