Derick Paul Molaison, 34, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away 
Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015. 
He was born July 12, 1980. 

A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 21, in his honor at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. The family will receive the public 
from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the church. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at the church, 

with the burial to be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his parents and stepparents, Robin Landry and Wayne, and 
Chris Molaison and Sue; brother, Wesley Landry; sister, Ashley L. Doiron; and 
grandparents, Carolyn Letellier, Gay Landry and Rosa Lou and Alvin Molaison. 

Derick served in the U.S. Army. He loved his dog, Abigail, and he also loved to 
play his drums. He was loved by many and loved many. He will be in our thoughts 
always. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the: 
Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter, 934 Highway 3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301 or the 
LA SPCA, 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70114. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
