Jeanette Griffin Nunn, 79, was born March 11, 1935, and died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 
2015. 

She was a native of Galliano and resident of Brownsville, Texas. 

A graveside service and burial was at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in Cheramie 
Cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Guilbeau, Penny Guilbeau and Patty 
Guilbeau; son, Preston Guilbeau; sister, Elois Griffin; 10 grandchildren; and 
one great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Nunn; parents, Justilien and 
Dulcina Griffin; sister, Gertie Ledet; and brothers, Kirby Cheramie, Athanas 
Griffin, Jay Griffin and Odeno Cheramie. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off was in charge of arrangements.
