Ronald J. Prosperie, 74, a native of Houma and resident of Bourg, died Friday, 
Feb. 6, 2015. 

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Living Word Church in 
Schriever. 

He is survived by his wife, Anne Deroche Prosperie; sons, Craig Prosperie and 
wife, Tammi, and Christopher Prosperie; stepsons, Richard Boquet, and Randy 
Boquet and wife, Alisa; daughters, Michelle Sanders and Dana Kuvent and 
husband, Mike; brother, Maurice Prosperie and wife, Margaret; sister, Elaine 
Clement and husband, Warren; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran Prosperie Sr. and Edith 
Bourgeois; son, Mark Prosperie; and brothers, Oran Prosperie Jr. and Wayne 
Prosperie. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
