Pearl Dupre Usey, 82, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Thibodaux passed 
away on February 10, 2015.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 
8:30 AM till 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM 
at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. 

Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Cortez and husband Leslie, Debra 
Becnel and husband Louis; sons, Mark Usey, Steve Usey, and Remy Usey and wife 
Tracy, sister, Jean Dupre Samanie; grandchildren, Chad Becnel, Kim Becnel 
Clement, Jeremy Cortez, Danielle Cortez, Ashley Cortez, Steve Usey II, Chris 
Usey, Dustin Usey, Destini Usey, Jennifer Leighton, Mark Usey Jr., Jared Usey, 
Crystal Hebert, Katie Usey Gauthreaux, Kayla Usey, Kyla Usey, Kassie Usey; 21 
great-grandchildren; her beloved cat and companion, Kitty.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marcel A. Usey Jr.; son, Patrick Joseph 
Usey; parents, Sylvest and Louise Kraemer Dupre; brothers, Floyd and Nolan 
Dupre; daughter-in-laws, Donna Folse Usey and Sandra Hebert Usey; grandson, 
Shauwn Patrick Cortez.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
