Albert Alexis Sr. 86, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of Thibodaux, 
died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, March 28, at St. 
John Baptist Church in Napoleonville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, at the church, 

with burial in St. John Baptist Church cemetery in Napoleonville. 

He is survived by his son, Albert Alexis Jr. (Brenda); daughters, Annie Mae 
Aexis Lemon (Felix), Rose Lee Alexis Robertson (Louis) and Rose Marie Alexis 
Duncan; stepchildren; Cathy Allen Carter (Eddie), Maxine Allen and Donna Allen 
Seibles (Joey); 16 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; five great-great-
grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; six step-geat-grandchildren; and five 
step-great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Scott Alexis; companion, Bertha 
Mae Nolan; daughters, Lillie Mae Alexis Steward and Lillian Marie Alexis; 
stepson, George Allen Jr.; parents, Wilson and Donna Stewart Alexis; one 
grandson; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Viola Steward 
and Edna Johnson; and brothers, Isaac Stewarts and Clarence Stewart. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
