Charlene Derrick Babin, 71, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, 
March 19, 2015.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, March 21, at St. 
Anthony Catholic Church in Bayou Black. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 
noon Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Babin Guidry; son, Troy Michael Babin, 
of Savannah, Georgia; brother, John Derrick; and grandchildren, Cristin Babin, 
Michael Babin, Caitlyn Vega, Camille Guidry, Tara Babin, Phillip Babin, Jacob 
Vega and Ellie Guidry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Paul Babin; daughter, Patricia 
"Peanut" Babin Vega; parents, Leonard and Josephine Derrick; brother, Dean 
Derrick; and sister, Charlotte Derrick.

Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements
