He was a generous man and always thought about others before himself. He donated his body for the advancement of science to LSU Bureau of Anatomical Services. His wish was to have a memorial and celebration of his life which will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at 234 Lake Decade Court at The Lakes off of Hwy. 311. The family looks forward to seeing you to share stories of his life. He is survived by his son, Darryl J. Belanger Jr. and wife, Patricia; daughters, Karey B. Whipple, Stacie B. Clement and husband, Sean, and Jesslyn Marie Belanger and partner, Gay Lynn Babin; grandchildren, Craig, Brian, Jeremy, Jennifer, Jana, Randi, Ryan, Sara and Sophie: and great-grandchildren, Bailey, Jeremy Jr., Mia, Katherine and Brayden. He was preceded in death by the love of his life of 57 years, Bobbie Lee Francis Eschete Belanger; father, Sterling Belanger; mother, Edna B. Belanger; brother, Sherrill Belanger; and infant son. Darryl was a well known business man and owner of East Park Radiator and Battery Shop for 37 years. ======================
