He was a native and resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church and Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Ann Parish Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial: St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his sons: Thomas Boquet & wife Carolyn, Gary Boquet & wife Rhoda, Glynn Boquet & wife Lorina, Burt Boquet & wife Cheryl, Reed Boquet, all from Bourg, La. and Brent Boquet & wife Kanoko from Houma,La. Daughters: Linda Caro & husband Eugene, Christine Naquin & husband Ernest, both from Bourg, La. Trudy Davis & husband Dan from Houma, La, Lila Barthold & husband Ken from Pope, MS, Tillie Lemoine & husband Daniel from Lafayette, La. Daughters-in-law: Gail Fabre & Pam Voisin. He is preceded in deaath by his wife: Camille Rogers Boquet, sons: Aubrey Lee Boquet, Llewellyn Boquet, Horace Boquet, Jr., Clay Paul Boquet & infant son Todd Boquet, Daughter-in-law: Pamela Boquet His father & mother: Jules & Antiliope Blanchard Boquet, his brothers: Louis, Ferdinand, Cyril, Alcee, Wills, Morris & Howard Boquet, his sisters: Louise Arceneaux, Clara Boquet, Lena Chauvin, Dulcie Olivier, Lela Aucoin, Jeanette DeRoche He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. First and foremost Horace was a devout Catholic, a loving husband, father, a cherished Paw Paw Hawky to his 132 grandchildren , great grandchildren & great, great grandchildren, a well respected and a life-long resident of Bourg. He worked for Texaco for 33 years and on his 7 days inshore, he was a cowboy in every sense of the word who worked with cattle and horses, and farmed the land to provide for his 16 children.
