Yvonne Roux Casso, a native of New Orleans and resident of Raceland, passed 
away Thursday, March 12, 2015. 
She was 89.

A visitation will be held at Thibodaux Funeral Home on St. Patrick Highway near 
the K.C. Home on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. 
Funeral services will be held at Thibodaux Funeral Home Monday, March 16, 2015 
at 11:00 a.m. 

Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland.

Yvonne is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Thomas Casso and two 
sons, David E. Casso and Gary T. Casso, both of Raceland, and brother-in-law, 
Conrad Charles Casso, also of Raceland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Roux and her mother, Bertha 
Eckerle Roux, a son, Randolph N. Casso, a brother, Eugene B. Roux, one sister, 
Margaret Roux Zeringue and brother-in-law, Ralph Zeringue.

Yvonne worked for the Navy during World War II. She was a wonderful wife and 
mother. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Yvonne was a kind person with a warm 
smile for everyone she met. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and 
will be greatly missed by all, but never forgotten.
