Janis “Sissy” Chauvin, 56, died Monday, March 16, 2015. She was a native of 
Ruston, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 10:30am to 1:00pm at 
Christ Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 
at 1:00pm at Christ Baptist Church. 

Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her, Spouse: Allen Chauvin, Mother: Nellie Clarine Ratley 
Rogers and husband Mike Rogers, Son: Paul Chauvin and wife Trisha, Daughters: 
Brandy Chauvin and Kelsey Chauvin, Brothers: Kennith Ratley and wife Sandra, 
Nelson Wayne Ratley and wife Cena, and Ronald Ratley and wife Tammy, Sister: 
Debra Robichaux and husband Robert, Grandchildren: Rene Chauvin, Hunter 
Chauvin, Tristan Blackledge,

She was preceded in death by her, Father: Willie Gene Ratley, Grandparents: 
Walter Williams and Maggie Williams, Willie Kent Ratley and Eugenia Ratley,

She was a member of Christ Baptist Church.

She loved her family very much. She also had a deep love of her Walmart Family. 
She enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time 
with her family and cooking with her family and friends.

We would like to thank Mary Bird Perkins and TGMC Staff and a special thank you 
to RN Cindy Pellegrin.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
