Ervin Morris Chiasson, Sr, 90, passed away March 22, 2015, resident and native 
of Thibodaux, LA.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 8AM until funeral time at St. 
John the Evangelist Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM, at 
the church. 

Burial to follow in St. John the Evangelist Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Traigle Chiasson; children, Dolores C. 
Leonard and husband Clarence, Jr., Ervin Chiasson, Jr. and wife Susan, Mona C. 
Baye and husband Gerald, Sr., Eugene Chiasson and wife Ruby, Betty C. Trosclair 
and husband Steve; grandchildren 15; step-grandchildren 7; great-grandchildren 
31; step-great-grandchildren 11; great-great-grandchildren 2; step-great-great-
grandchildren 5.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Anastasia Chiasson, Sr.; 
brothers, Andrew, Herman, Arthur, Jr., Phillip and Dennis Chiasson; sister, 
Thelma C. Gaspard.
