Sarah Coleman, 97. A native and resident of Houma, LA died on Saturday, March 
7, 2015 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Mrs. Coleman will have visitation at Community Funeral Home on Thursday, March 
12, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00p.m.

A Celebration of Life for her will be held at First Corinthian Baptist Church 
1114 Church St., Houma, LA 70360 on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Her 
service will be officiated by Elder Philip Ruffin. 

She will be laid to rest at Southdown Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memories are three sons, David(Betty)Coleman, 
Chester(Audrey)Coleman, Jr., and Herman(JoAnn)Coleman. Two daughters, Hilda 
Woodley and Dorothy Murray and one dauther-in-law, Dianne Coleman and sister-
in-law Bessie Coleman. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Coleman, Sr.; parents, Calvin 
and Mary Salsbury Williams. One son, Berwick Coleman, brothers, Louis, Earl, 
Calvin, Jesse, Willie and Alvin Williams. One sister, Ollie Hawkins. 

She was a Baptist and she enjoyed fishing, sewing and gardening.
