George Landry, 88, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux Healthcare, 
passed away Friday, March 13, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, March 28, at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A memorial service will be 
at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. 

He is survived by his son, Addis Landry Sr.; brother, Nolan Landry; sisters, 
Hoisbil Marse, Bertha Mae Simon, Loretta Zeringue and Linda Bernard; 
grandchildren, Addis Landry Jr., Jody Landry and Tanya Landry Ponson; and 
great-grandchildren, Kallie Landry, Klint Landry, Peyton Ponson, Reese Ponson 
and Brenna Landry. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olga Ursula Landry and Luke Landry; 
and wife, Emeraude Mahler Landry. 

George donated his body to LSU Bureau of Anatomical Services.
