Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, March 30, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dot Marcel; daughters, Deborah M. Bourgeois and Lynne M. Barrilleaux; stepchildren, Cary, Tammy and Steven Guercio; grandchildren, Heidi Manning, Katie Killian, Maddie Barrilleaux, Chris and Adam Bourgeois, Kellie Bishop, Beth Pinel and Jonathan Neal; great- grandchildren, Sophie and Shay Manning, Sawyer Killian, Brandon Bourgeois, Ruby Bishop and Gavin Pinel; and siblings, Norman, Louis and Kurt Marcel, Louise Porche and Alice Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sullivan Paul Marcel and Louise Marie Molaison Marcel; infant daughter, Junella Eve Marcel; and siblings, Ethel Babin, Russell Marcel, Hazel Filce and Rita Porche. Junel was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather. He was always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone. He will be greatly missed.The family would like to thank Dr. Fail and Dr. Sanusi at TGMC for the compassionate care provided during his medical treatment and Journey Hospice for the exceptional care provided that respected his wishes during the end of his life journey.Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements U.S. Navy ======================
