Francis Joseph Martin Sr., 80, a native of Little Caillou and resident of 
Chauvin, died Sunday, March 8, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, March 13, at Samart 
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sons, Francis J. Martin Jr., Michael Martin and wife, 
Mary Lou, Kevin Martin and Derrel Martin; brothers, Elias "Gabby" Martin, 
Thomas Martin and Ruffin Martin Sr.; and grandchildren, Amanda Martin Theriot 
and husband, Allen Theriot III, Brittany Martin, Jeremiah Getuaban and Julianna 
Martin. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance "Connie" Voclain Martin; 
parents, Thomas Martin Jr. and Lena Verrett Martin; brothers, Roland Martin Sr. 
and Reuben Martin; and sisters, Iona Martin Boquet and Marlin Martin Duplantis 
Neil. 

Francis served in the c. 
He was an avid farmer and a well-liked USPS mail carrier. 

The family would like to give special thanks to Journey Hospice and Dr. Ray 
Cinnater. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
