Burnell Matthews, 55. A native of Valentine, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA 
died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Laplace, LA.

His home going service will be held at Community Funeral Home on Saturday, 
March 21, 2015 with visitation from 1:00p.m. until funeral time at 2:00p.m. 

He will be buried at New Fountain Cemetery in Lockport, LA

He will be missed by his daughter, Danielle Matthews and brothers, Egerald, 
Henry and Joseph Matthews, Jr. and sister, Annie Matthews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Joseph Matthews, Sr., and 
brother, Alvin Matthews and two sisters, Dorothy Mayer and Rita Matthews.
