Melodia Rita Guillot McCarthy, 75, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, 
passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday, March 27, 
2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 
am at the church 

followed by burial in St. John the Evangelist Church cemetery.

She is survived by her 7 children, Penny S. and Onda Templeton Jr., Jessie Jr. 
and Dawn McCarthy, Johnny McCarthy, Donna McCarthy, Donald McCarthy and 
companion Trudy Daigle, Judy and Dwayne Hebert, Trudy and Ricky Hebert; 18 
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren plus more; sisters, Gladys Kraemer, 
Bernice and Reese Bernard; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie "Jimmy" McCarthy Sr.; parents, 
Clarence and Lydia Guillot; grandparents, Emile and Melodia Guillot, Edgar and 
Eva Tabor; sisters, Marie Thibodaux and Theresa Guillot; brothers, Lawrence 
"Pete" Guillot, Edgar "nunu" Guillot, and Melvin Guillot; grandson, Tyler 
Hebert.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
