Marie Z. Mire, 92, a native of St. Charles Community and resident of Thibodaux 
went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 21, 
2015 at 11:26 AM.

To celebrate her life, a memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, 
March 25, 2015 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral at 8:30 AM with a Memorial Mass to 
begin at 9:00 AM. 

Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes place in the tomb with her one 
true love, Francis Mire.

She is survived by her brother, James Zeringue; a sister-in-law, Earline 
Zeringue. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews to cherish her 
memory; special friends, Gayleand Willie Cooper, John and Faye Robichaux, and 
neighbors, Sonny and Hazel Gautreaux who cared for her every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Mire; her parents, Wiltz 
Zeringue and Cecile Bourgeois Zeringue; sister, Beulah Zeringue Ferreira; 
brothers, Etienne, Paul, Louis, Sam, and Ivy Zeringue.

Marie had an excellent memory and stories of her pass that could make you laugh 
for days. She grew up in hard times so she knew how to appreciate the simplest 
things. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially by those 
who went to her for advice or just a few words of comfort and encouragement.
