Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1503.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Sheryl Ann Trahan Olivier, 69, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, March 20, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Pinell and husband, Don; sister, Laura Swire; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and aunt, Jennie Chauvin. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Trahan; mother, Dulice Lapeyrouse Trahan; son, Gary Olivier Jr.; and grandmother, Eugenie Lapeyrouse. Sheryl was one of the fifth generations. She was a loving mother and a good friend to many. She was a dedicated retired worker at Chabert Medical Center for 25 years. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Ray Cinnater, Dr. Jules Dupont, Dr. Craig Wade and their staff of Internal Medicine Associates of Houma, Oaks of Houma, the nurses of Hospice of South Louisiana and Bayou Home Care for taking care of her medical needs at such a difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses may be offered in Sheryl's name. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
