Rosita C. Plaisance, 76, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, 
died Sunday, March 22, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, March 26, at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 
noon Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Cut Off. 

She is survived by her son, Perry Plaisance; daughters, Carol Pitre, Diane 
Plaisance, Romanda Pitre and Cindy Istre; six grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloydman Plaisance Sr.; companion, 
Terry St. Pierre; parents, Noel Sr. and Augusta Cheramie; son, Lloydman 
Plaisance Jr.; brothers, Hubert Cheramie, Noel Cheramie Jr., Christopher 
Cheramie Sr., Gerald Cheramie and Leroy Cheramie; and sisters, Romanda 
Cheramie, Gernise Cheramie and Frances Eymard. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
