Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1503.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Elisse Monet Stine, 40, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA, who passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was born on May 14, 1974. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 20, 2015, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA. A Visitation will be on Friday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral from 8:00am until funeral time. Burial will be in St. John the Evangelist in Thibodaux, LA. She is survived by her parents, Armida LaCour Stine and Kyle Kenneth Stine, Jr.; sister, Simonne Gros; brother, Kyle Kenneth Stine, III and wife, Cassie; nephews, Kenneth Kyle Gros and Kyle Stine, IV; cousin, Kevin Dominguez-LaCour; and friend, Chris Durocher. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Armida Bernadas and Marion LaCour; and paternal grandparents, ZuZu and Kyle Kenneth Stine, Sr. She was a professional ballerina who studied and performed all over the United States. She loved to dance on stage. When Elisse was twelve years old she was the recipient of a scholarship from Thibodaux Music Club, the only dance scholarship ever awarded by that organization. When she was fourteen years old she was awarded a full all-inclusive scholarship to the prestigious HARID Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. Elisse’s favorite job was as a teacher of children, whether she was teaching children ballet or teaching Montessori Method to kindergartners. She held a B.S. Degree in Family and Consumer Science from Nicholls State University. Elisse was a wonderful teacher loved by her students because she was patient and kind. Elisse had the special ability to put herself on the child’s level in order to teach them. Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. will be in charge of arrangements. ======================
