rvin "Doot" Thomas, Sr., 81, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Houma, died Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral 
will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Dularge Community Baptist 
Church, 524 Andrew St., Houma, LA 70360. 

Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.

He is survived by: four sons, Irvin Thomas, Jr. (Alma), Wilbert Thomas, Woodrow 
Thomas, and Randolph Clay; three daughters, Janie Wagner (Allen, Sr.), Shelita 
Norman and Wanda Diggs (Charles), one brother, James Thomas; thirty four 
grandchildren; seventy great grandchildren; and seven great-great 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Rosemary Parker-Thomas; his parents, 
Anthony and Vivian Soco-Thomas; two daughters, Elouise Thibodeaux and Angelina 
Allen; five brothers, Anthony Thomas, Elijah Thomas, Freddie Thomas, Allen 
Thomas and Earl Thomas; and two sisters, Delma Scoby and Hilda Thomas.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
