Rev. Msgr. Francis J. Amedee, 90, a native of Lutcher, La, resident of 
Thibodaux, La. and long time pastor of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, from 1971 – 
1999 passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015.

Visitation will be at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, La on Tuesday, April 
14, from 8:00 am until the Catholic funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will 
follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, La.

He was survived by his sisters, Evelyn Zeringue, and Shirley Crocker, and his 
brother, Gerald Amedee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ambroise and Floresca Waguespack 
Amedee; brothers, Clifford, Clifton, Nolan, Whitney, Laurant, Ernest and Norman 
Amedee; and sisters, Emily Amedee, and Carmen Bourgeois.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux for Seminarian 
Education in memory of Msgr. Francis Amedee
