Arabie, 92, a native and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM, Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Monday with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA. She is survived by her son, Peter T. Arabie and wife Ruth; daughter, Anne A. Dufrene and husband Larry; grandchildren Ryan Dufrene and wife Amy, Ben Dufrene, Jessica Arabie, Kimberly Welch and husband Chris, Joey Rogers and wife Laura; great grandchildren, Seth, Hailey, Hayden, Bailey, Libby, Brittni, Lane; great –great grandchildren, Casen, Zachery, Rebekah, Jaycob; brother, Henry Wilton Chauvin and wife Laura Mae; sister Theresa Dufrene and Mary Louise Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy L. Arabie; parents, William and Ursula B. Chauvin; brothers, Zenon Chauvin and wife Mable, Malcolm Chauvin and wife Molly; brothers-in-law, Roland Dufrene and Irby Walker. Earline retired from St. Anne General Hospital as a nurse, was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Lockport Senior Citizens. She enjoyed quilting.
